oops forgot to say you also need to get and install Xvoice from http://xvoice.sourceforge.net if you do get into voice control look at phillips products for a speachmike with trackball. http://www.talktoyourcomputer.com/speechmike.htm I got one for beta testing phillips freespeech and they are great. mine is not the pro but it works OK under linux as a MS compatible. The launch trigger does not work under linux but you can still use the mike which is all that Xvoice needs.
