Have you looked at Xfce4? It's heavier, but nice. It's past beta, in to rc2 or something.

Yes I have it's cute and the themeing is excellent. It's what I have installed currently.

My current distro of choice, Libranet linux, sets IceWM as default when installed and allows the option to change at any time to many others; Xfce(3), Blackbox, Openbox, Fluxbox, Afterstep, Enlightenment, Windowmaker, Fvwm2, Qvwm, Kde and Gnome.

Some of the above I haven't heard of so I think I will have to do a little play.... I have found that using Xnest as a tester makes it easy. i.e.

#!/bin/bash

Xnest :1 -name "Xfce4" +kb -ac &

export DISPLAY=:1

xsetroot -display :1 -solid darkblue &

exec startkde # <Insert wm here>

The problem for many is Libranet is Debian, which for some reason deters those who prefer rpm hell. ;-)

I seem to use ./configure && make && make install the most.... rpm's s**t me to tears
