As someone else commented in a different way, this list, and our interests, 
are in supporting the Linux Standard Base. We can all have individual 
preferences as far as how each distro 'does it', but as an agnostic linux 
users group, the objectives of LSB are similar to our own. Therefore this 
proposed distro, should be aligned as such to the lsb where possible.

In fact, it's a great learning curve for all of us, to distinguish those 
differences between a 'standard reference' (which doesn't physically exist 
yet) and the actuality of SuSe, Redhat etc. This makes us employable across a 
wider spectrum of *nix companies.
