I'm far from a Linux guru, so I'm glad to announce that I installed
Slackware 8 and it was pretty damn easy. I am dual booting it with Win2000
Pro and it went flawlessly. Lilo set itself up automagically during the
install. This is on a 20 GB drive, so no more Lilo problems over the 1024th
cylinder.
The full install takes almost 2 GBs. It can install Nautilus, KDE2, e, and
various other window managers, if you so choose.
All I have to overcome now is a IRQ conflict with my sound card. Also it
won't see my printer yet.
