Slackware uses Apsfilter which can be setup via xterm (or whatever) by
cd-ing to /usr/lib/apsfilter and running ./SETUP (as root).
all modules are loaded via /etc/rc.d/rc.modules by uncommenting your
soundcard from the list. You can also tweek the IRQ etc if needed (and
you know the correct settings)
