Ok. Now that I've been using SuSE 7.1Pro for a little while (very little),
I have found the following:
It is a very nice install (Wow, YaST2 is much better than YaST1). This is
the kind of installer that makes me want to have my mom watch while I
install the thing.
I like the default color schemes and configs (nice clock in KDM). I like
the xconsole, even if I don't know what to do with it at times.
Nice admin tools. The X tools are rather DrakX-esque and somewhat better.
So far I like them better than COAS. They seem a bit more complete and
friendlier.
Nice software selection! HUGE amount of software, including most of the
software I tar->RPM'd for eD2.4
ReiserFS! Cool! Scary Root Scheme! Cool! Comprehensive RPM-Management!
Sweet!
While I don't like GNOME/Enlightenment, some of the software I like and use
requires the libraries, so it's nice that they're all there.

JBuilder is a great addition... if it weren't only German!
No Other Java IDE's to speak of?
X doesn't come up right and I get a blank screen. I end up CTRL-ALT-F1-ing
and the ALT-F7-ing to get back to GUI login.

Overall, SuSE is a VERY nice distro. I am in the process of d/l-ing W31 to
check it out. I know comparing a d/l ISO to a purchased 7 CD set is not
fair, but W31 will have to soar pretty high over the beta to convince me to
give up SuSE... I just miss understanding how it's FS/Configs are laid out
the way I understand eD2.4.
Possibly more later.
