Hope you have read the posting back to you from Myles and Jerry. They are
some of the best around in Linux, but there a a lot more people here that
will help you. In fact we help each other. I came from Windoze and I
developed code there and still do. Linux beats M$ hands down. It biggest
asset - is it is free and you you are allowed to upgrade at your pace and
your ability to do so. True some apps are not there yet, but so many are and
they will use your windoze files. TOC is so much less and you have more
control. Hey I going to challenge you. Give Linux a year and you dig into it
for that time. If you do not beleive that it beats M$ hands down I will lift
a beer in the name of M$. I don't think so, wanna bet. Oh, by the way you
found one of the best reasons to use linux, this list of people talking and
living , promoting linux. It is great. I have made many new freinds here and
they live around the world, M$ does not have anything like it.
