I wonder if this has anything to do with the BSA, another sleaze
ball deal from M$. They may be scanning around looking for
people running unlicensed M$ software. Then if they find someone
they can schedule them for harassment and intimidation so they
can sign up another victim who has to pay the license fees.
If you're running linux then, I suspect, they would just cross
you off the list and move on.
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get
me, though.
