no, i was refering to koffice in particular, any time i tried to save a
document i got the kde crash-handler after the application disappeared
from view. i also got freezes etc. but they don't count as a 'crash'
IMHO. in general, the kde supplied by slackware runs much slower and
uses more ram and cpu. with the 2.2beta, even with all the eye candy
turned on, things are much more stable and 'feel' somewhat faster as
well. i'm contemplating doing a another rebuild and trying the
--enable-final switch as that should improve the speed even more (or so
i'm led to believe).
I still prefer XFce for personal use though =)
