Has anyone tried to contact the sites what have sent the poison NNNNN
request?
I just tried to look up about 90 or so of these things in my access log.
Many nslookup reported as nonexistent domains.
Then, when I put the discovered ip's into opera's location bar,
many reported that my machine couldn't connect to that server.
Then, many just didn't respond at all.
In fact, I only got to contact about four servers.
One was in a funny font from .tw, with the only readable line being a link
to Microsoft.com
One was in Italian, and that site seemed to be up. No defacement.
One was a internet hosting site, looked fine.
The fourth was a generic apache web server page, saying that apache was up
but no content had been added to the site. (Maybe one person out of 90
switched to apache ?)
What does all this mean?
Joel
