short answer is /etc/rc.d/init.d/amd
long answer is that a Caldera distro tends to have a very good and
sophisticated way of handling all these services, starting at the
/etc/sysconfig tree. (grep-edit in there for an amd file and set it to NO,
basically)
the other answer is that these services can be killed in
/etc/rc.d/init.d/rc.5/s??amd
simply rename that file to k??amd. This will keep your sysV init scripts and
topology consistent, even though caldera don't use k?? anything. On the other
hand (you don't say), if you're on redhat, then this paragraph (k??) applies.
