you do NOT have *the* file
libstdc++.so
listed as being (part of) the rpm's you gave. So whatever and however it's on
your system, if it's on your system, it isn't from *those* rpm's.
as you know? -lstdc++ is a shortform for the above
and the above is generally always a symlink to the real .so under the hammer.
have you tried a simple locate?
