I am having a heck of a time restoring the Windows side of my dual-boot
machine. when attempting to load Win98(se) on a newly formatted dos partion
everything goes fine until just after copying setup files (in the temp gui)
when I am kicked out with a 'GPF on SUWIN' error. Expansion of that reveals
"a bad msdos extender error" caused a stack dump.

I know that this is not a Linux problem, but if anyone knows what this is
caused by and how to fix it , please contact me OFFLIST. I would be forever
grateful and add you to my xmas card list. ;o)

Sorry to take Microsloth problem to the list, but I have run out of ideas and
things to try.
