I did a tar file a short while ago and turnrd it into a .rpm by issuing the
conmmand rpm -ta "xxxxxx-xxxx.tar.gz" it puts the rpms into
/usr/src/openlinux/rpms/i386. Remmenber that you can also do this from source
files but forget at the moment what the command is, someone else will know
here.
