I am running Xine quite nicely on Suse 7.3 also vlc does a good job too. But I wonderr what rpms you have installed as well as the xine-lib and xine-ui ?? Xine-d4d ? Xine-alsa ? Xine-w32dll etc ................... There are aso some more gotchya libraries needed. Let me know what you have installed and I'll let you know what else you need.
