lsof -i TCP will help you find the connections in question, showing
the owner & pid for your end of a connection.
lsof -p "pid" will tell you what files that pid has open.

It might help. also look in your webserver logs, which might be
logging the incoming connection port; if not, extend logging so that
it does.
