I run an old consumer-grade d-link* - albeit with a bigger aerial. For
security, I intentionally run an easily hackable wep key on the network,
on the assumption that relying on enhanced wireless security will
probably end in tears - si that keeps me focussed on security. Anyone
who hacks in can access the internet, albeit as a pretty slow rate.

The servers are all hidden from the wireless net behind a VPN. It's a
simple and robust model...

* This router has out-survived many successors, supports ADSL 2+, and is
currently delivering content at up to 1.3MB/s. I have no need for
802.11n, so will stay with it. I have a backup (new, free) voda supplied
router configured if I have any problems.
