Similarly true.
The response I have had for every job I've interviewed for for the last
few years (at least when anyone has bothered to respond) has been that I
am 'too experienced' or that the position is 'too junior', or some other
variation of 'piss off, grandad'. Even the PFY's at the recruitment
companies have finally realised that 'there could be a more senior role
coming up soon' isn't good news.
I know a few other people who have extensive 'QBE' who are in the same
boat. At least, I did. They have left.
I'd say the best qualifications are youth and an MSCE.
Anyway, next year I am going back to Varsity and it is not to study IT.
