Is there anyone here who would like some old HP servers?
There are two server chassis, and two power supply chassis with 6 x
2000W PSUs each. <-- note these need six wall sockets to run, not all
on the same multibox!
Approximately 14 blades and 4 patch panels.
Downsides / Full Disclosure.
* All appear to be old first-gen AMD Opterons
* memory is limited, some blades are empty of ram.
* only a couple SCSI disks/caddies included
* no fibre and no SAN.
* all kit is totally untested, and was wiped before we received it.
And the worst thing - they're doing to inhale electricity like its free.
There's probably more computing power in a modern i5 than all of these
combined.
