I'm looking too for a cheap/free cloud backup solution in the ~200GB range with at least some APIs for automation. Other services on offer are a plus. Didn't find anything free so far, but I found owncloud providers ( http://owncloud.org/providers/ ) to be the next best thing. For example with arvixe.com I might have unlimited space and bandwith for < NZD60/year and all the goodies of a web hosting service with the added bonus of WebDAV/CardDAV/CalDav so you can sync your desktop and mobile apps. IMHO for personal use beats a VPS solution. Also if you can speak german (I can't, but google can), apparently there are cheap negotiated solutions starting from 1Euro/month/10GB ( https://uberspace.de/ ) Adrian _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.canterbury.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
