I know this next statement is of no help but unless its a thinkpad any new
computers i get i build myself and check the parts are compat with linux.
So no amd graphics and  no broadcom crap stick to intel or amd processors
(if budget is tight), intel or nvidia graphics and other parts that are
well known to work with linux.
