Well we have funds to the tune of $470 to pay for the domain name. It's
a no-brainer to me that we should pay our own expenses first before
giving the money away, also for the next few years.

We should also re-imburse Ross from the available funds for the years he
has paid out of his own pocket.

I further propose that we

1) Shift the domain registration to domains4less.co.nz, where it costs
$23 instead of the $32.15 at discountdomains.

2) Find new web hosting space, which tends to be very easy. Chris H,
thank you! Most of the traffic will probably be from search engines...

I think it would be useful to keep a website of 1 page, detailing what
we are (not, haha), what we do, and pointing to the mailing list. Bonus
for adding a second page of history. It's totally pointless to assemble
any knowledge at that site because all that is already elsewhere and
there's probably no-one to maintain it.

Well, not much beard, but I am now the longest subscribed member, only a
few months short since the list started in about mid-1995. I could be
persuaded to provide text for a history page...

PS There's at least 1 link to clug.net.nz, which doesn't exist any more
and has been registered by a USA company.
