Hello,

I'm sorry if this seems stupid questions but I have problems with
character entry in uft8 xterm:

I have suse 6.4 with nothing especially updated or so but an xterm-156
and recent ucs-fonts. My locale is German.

My problem is: I used to have "deadkeys" in my X keyboard configuration
and liked the possibility to combine tilde, accents and so on with vowel
characters.

I could not get this stuff entered into an "xterm -u8", just nothing
happened. So I reconfigured X with "nodeadkeys" and I can use the symbols
as single characters but not as combining.

Maybe I missed something about the entry of combinig characters in xterm
in general. I have found no documentation on this topic for xterm.

What I want is an xterm with as much input capabilities as possible. :-)

Any help or links to documentation appreciated.

cheers
Oliver
