Of course; it not off-topic for me.
The development version of PuTTY has UTF-8 support and is a VERY close
emulation of an Xterm. With minor reconfigs it also works near perfectly
as a remote Linux console replacment (DOSEMU likes it; which feels a
little weird :-) ).
It works fine on all current 'doze varients plus W95 and can do unicode
cut&paste (xterm style) on all of them; it's a real home from home for
an xterm-o-phile.
