I did testing in Opera 7.11 for Linux, and I get the same (incorrect) result with any font. Going to "user mode" and changing the fonts from preferences gives the same result at least with fonts: Helvetica [Adobe] (default) Efont Serif [Xft] Georgia [Xft] Luxi Sans [Xft] Charter [Bitsream] etc. So that the font is not the problem. With each font, "much less-than" is showing as >> and vice versa. Could it be Freetype, then, you having a different version (perhaps)? Or what else is there that could cause this? -TJ -- Linux-UTF8: i18n of Linux on all levels Archive: http://mail.nl.linux.org/linux-utf8/
