Thank you very much Michel, it worked!! I want to make MPEG4 camera using Fedora Core 5 + Qcam IM. Now Qcam IM is working fine, luvcview displayes the picture.
Half a day ago, I was standing in front of a shop, without being able to make the decision if I should buy Qcam Fusion or things like that, which is expensive but clearly supported by uvc. You saved poor person's money, Michel :) Still I have a problem with MPEG4IP's mp4live - it says 'Failed to open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy'. I don't understand why. fuser says mp4live is using /dev/video0. But this is another story. -- tamagawa at osaka, japan Michel Xhaard wrote: > Le Vendredi 6 Octobre 2006 20:54, tamagawa a écrit : >> Hi, >> >> I'm trying to use Logitech Quickcam IM with V4L2. >> uvc doesn't recognize the camera - spca5xx works fine, >> but with V4L :( >> >> Somebody please help? >> -- >> tamagawa at osaka, japan > Tamagawa, > Spca5xx become gspca for the v4l2 support, gspca is under construction and at the moment with two branchs : > gspcav1 v4l1 support > gspcav2 v4l2 support > Seem your webcam is supported by gspcav2, download the whole package here: > http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/Investigation/Gspca/ > You can then test it with luvcview :) > regards _______________________________________________ Linux-uvc-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/linux-uvc-devel
