Hi Bob, > Thanks for the work you have done with the driver!
You're welcome. > I was wondering if anybody been successful controlling the Pan, Tilt, and > Zoom for a Orbit MP? I have tried v4lctl and luvcview to control the > Pan/Tilt but the MP does unpredictable things. luvcview used to work last time I tried it. The next driver version implements a new API that will be used to control pan/tilt. I'll try to release it soon, after trying to get the pan/tilt controls integrated in the V4L2 specification. You can find it in the SVN 'split' branch. The API should be stable, but the controls IDs might change. > In addition I have found if I set the UVC_CONTROL_TIMEOUT to 1000+, I don't > get the 110 query error and can access the camera with uvccapture. That's interesting. I'll keep this in mind when trying to find a software fix for the hardware problem we are experiencing. Thanks for reporting this.
