i try to install the UVC driver on uname -a
Linux notebook 2.6.16.21-0.25-default #1 Tue Sep 19 07:26:15 UTC 2006 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux therefore i checked out svn checkout
svn://svn.berlios.de/linux-uvc/linux-uvc/trunk and used the command make and i
got the following output ->
make
Building USB Video Class driver...
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.21-0.25-obj/i386/default'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `modules'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.21-0.25-obj/i386/default'
make: *** [uvcvideo] Error 2
does anyone know why this fault appears and how to solve it? is it because
of the kernel a wrong version? i am relatively a newbie in linux and try to
install a logitech webcam! so hopefully someone can help!
