I'm seeing exactly the same problem (FC6, kernel-2.6.18-1.2868 x86_64).
I assumed it was because I'm using an older version of lucview and
linux-uvc -- but apparently not!

BTW, is anyone else able to get to berlios.de? I've been unable to
access it for about a week now.
