Just bought a Logitech Ultra Vision (Bus 005 Device 003: ID 046d:08c9
Logitech, Inc.) and fetched the latest SVN code and compiled and
installed it. When I plug my camera to the computer, dmesg says the
following:

[31812.967386] usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo
[31812.967392] USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0)
[80416.916669] usb 5-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
[80417.209159] usb 5-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[80417.209349] uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device <unnamed> (046d:08c9)

(I loaded the module manually beforehand)

The /dev/video and /dev/video0 devices are created when camera is plugged in.

But now when I try to capture images from it, I get the following
error in dmesg:

[81559.905342] uvcvideo: Failed to query (1) UVC control 1 (unit 0) :
-110 (exp. 26).

First I tried "motion", it said:

[0] Processing thread 0 - config file /etc/motion/motion.conf
[1] Thread is from /etc/motion/motion.conf
[1] Thread started
[1] motion-httpd/3.2.3 running, accepting connections
[1] motion-httpd: waiting for data on port TCP 82
[1] No mmap falling back on read
[1] ioctl (VIDIOCSWIN): Input/output error
[1] Capture error calling vid_start
[1] Thread finishing...

Then I falled back to uvccapture-0.4, compiled it and tried to start:

Unable to set format: 5.
Init v4L2 failed !! exit fatal

Both tries results in the same error in dmesg.

Machine is a Intel D945GNT board with integrated USB2 controller.
Linux is Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy with custom 2.6.19.1 i386 kernel.
