There are known timing-related hardware issues with Logitech webcams. The
problem doesn't affect all users. Nobody has been able to find a workaround
so far (neither developers at Logitech or Linux UVC users). This might change
in the future, but I don't want to give anyone false hope. I'm not working on
this, as I tried everything I could think of. We haven't been able to find
what exactly triggers the hardware bug.
