Currently I run the linux-uvc module compiled from CVS.

Until now I'm not (yet) experienced with video and USB at kernel module
level. But if basic support video works and the only problem are user
application that I'm able to write my own application.
BTW: The camera is has a setting for "webcam" and "motion dv". Here is
a lsusb with the other setting active. Perhaps something changed...
