Thanks very much! However, current svn source does not compile on
x86_64. The following is fatal:

gcc -I../libavcodec -I../libavformat -Wdisabled-optimization
-Wno-pointer-sign -Wdeclaration-after-statement -I. -I..
-I../libavutil -Wall -Wno-switch -Wpointer-arith -Wredundant-decls -O4
-march=k8 -mtune=k8 -pipe -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer
-D_REENTRANT -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
-D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/SDL -D_REENTRANT
-I/usr/include/freetype2 -DPNG_NO_MMX_CODE -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0
-I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/cairo
-I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0
-I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/freetype2
-I/usr/include/libpng12 -c -o vf_ilpack.o vf_ilpack.c

If you would be so kind to point me to exact patch, I would apply it
on mplayer-1.0rc1 (that does compile) and then test. Again, thanks for
writing the patch
