hi ,
i am not sure that the problem is with mandriva.
Explication :
i have done the same thing with : gspca pwc spca5xx and the
gspca.ko.gz pwc/ spca5xx.ko.gz are created in
lib/modules/2.6.17-10mdv/kernel/drivers/usb/media/ and not in
lib/modules/2.6.17-10mdvcustom/usb/media. that is how i dont think that the
problem is not mandriva.
other reason : i have done the same thing (uvc installation) on an other
machine and after moving the file and doing depmod ma webcam is detected.Which
is not the case in this machine.
thanks
