Hi,
I'm using a Logitech Quickcam Pro for Notebooks (046d:0991) together with
OpenCV for some computer vision experiments. For camera calibration I need
several pictures of a chessboard with constant intrinsic parameters, that
means that the focus of the camera has to be constant. So I don't want
autofocus feature!

Here my questions:
- Autofocus is by default not active and only works with the Windows driver?
- For Linux there is no hidden automatic change of the focus, isn't it?
- If I use the webcam without any focus adjustment, is the focus always
the same (set to infinity)?
- If I want to change the focus manually, than I have to do it by my own
in a userspace program, as mentioned in some previous posts. Is the a code
snippet available?

Regards,
  Gerhard
