That's because your phone has no video controls, so that's pretty normal.

Those are debug messages. You can turn them off by setting the trace parameter 
back to 0.

I've never really used gstreamer, so don't know what goes wrong. Your phone 
supports MJPEG only while most other UVC devices support YUV as well. That 
might be a clue.
