Hi, I don't know if I am posting this correctly because I am not used to using mailing lists.
Anyway, I read in last month's archives about a bug discussed on the Quickcam pro 9000 and about how it freezes in skype (I haven't tested other programs, any suggestions?). I have the webcam and I wanted to confirm that it does freeze the camera for some reason unless you hold the camera up to a light for a few seconds after you start the camera. For some reason it works fine after that. Sometimes you don't have to do this, if for example your room is quite bright anyway. If the camera does freeze I have to unplug the camera and plug it back in to get it working again. After the camera is frozen the camera's light will stay on even if I stop using the webcam. I'm running on svn revision 159 (updated on 8th jan 08). Thanks, Andrew
