Hi Laurent,

I apologize to do not answer you before, but I took some weeks off and
I did not check my mails ;0) . I noticed a very slow performance right
away in my system when I start using my webcam with either luvcview,
or skype. Even when I try to move the mouse the cursor does not move
smoothly it all, the GUI does not respond as fast as when a webcam
application( skype, luvcview) is using the webcab . I check the dmesg
if this could be related to a huge flow of constant warnings or error
messages, but that is not the case.

I guess my system is more susceptible to this condition, because it is
a laptop with an Intel Pentium M @ 800Mhz and 256 Megas of RAM :(

I do not know how to measure the performance, before and after using
the webcam any idea? Do you recommend any tool to give you more
accurate info?

A+
