Because I had overlooked KEY_CAMERA when I implemented input events support. Shame on me :-/ > Bastien opened a bug at > https://developer.berlios.de/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=13723&group_id=568 >1 but it seems it went unnoticed. I always forget to monitor the Berlios bug tracker. The preferred way of interaction is the linux-uvc-devel mailing list. I've now closed the bug tracker to make sure reports won't go unnoticed. > I'm wondering if there is a particular reason for using BTN_0 since it > seems a pretty common practice in webcam drivers (pwc, > quickcam_messenger, konica, uvcvideo, all use that event). > > Anyway I've opened a bug at kernel bugzilla with a proposed patch. > http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12825 The original patch seems to have been written by Bastien (at least for the UVC video driver) and I'd like to give him credit for that. Bastien can you resend the patch by e-mail with your Signed-off-by ?
