Hi,
Earlier versions of guvcview where compatible with gtk+ 2.8, but since 2.10
was already around I set that for configurion, but a lot has changed since
:-)
Most distributions keep the gtk+ library up to date, so this was never a
problem before.
Anyway, I will fix it ASAP.

PS: mjpeg compression code is available in svn if you want to test it.
When streaming in MJPEG (or JPEG as is the case of some gspca cameras) there
will be a spin box with the quality factor in the video controls and a Apply
button.
In my case there was absolutly no difference in frame sizes in any of the
tested values, I still need to verify the quantization tables for all of the
cases, if they are the same then compression is unchanged.
The quality factor seems to change only to a couple of values: Q=20, 40, 60,
80 and 100

Best regards,
Paulo
