Hello,

I've just returned my Quickcam Pro 9000 and took a Vision Pro (BCD 0.9)
and I got exactly the same problem (even worse it seems).

I tried your test, and I only got 23 fps with still a lot of
flickering...

Same problem with 2 (slightly) different camera and 2 linux kernel
(2.6.26 and 2.6.30) !

I really don't know what is wrong here...
