I 've got the same bug here, I can change the exposure on a Windows box, then replug on my Opensuse 11 then exposure is correct on my linux box As soon as I change the exposure for example with guvciew, then the exposure become very high and the camera show only a white picture of my room. On windows I can can change the setting of the exposure and the Creative Live! Cam Optia reacts normally I use skype on Windows or a dummy soft called "easy webcam" the panel setting for the webcam is the same and with both of them I can change manually the exposure This bug is according to me a driver bug not an hardware bug If I can help in any sort please give me a hint Regards ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Laposte.net fête ses 10 ans !
