Hi !

I have same problems with my Manta mm 353 Plako.

Thanks to you, I can at least see myself in vlc.

Earlier I've tried all tricks you've mentioned without success.

Can't wait for solution to make this webcam usable with other linux programs.

Here are I provide " luvcview -L " for curious :

$ luvcview -L
luvcview version 0.2.1
Video driver: x11
A window manager is available
video /dev/video0
/dev/video0 does not support read i/o
{ pixelformat = 'MJPG', description = 'MJPEG' }
{ discrete: width = 640, height = 480 }
        Time interval between frame: 1/25, 1/20, 1/15, 1/10,
{ discrete: width = 640, height = 480 }
        Time interval between frame: 1/25, 1/20, 1/15, 1/10,
{ discrete: width = 320, height = 240 }
        Time interval between frame: 1/25, 1/20, 1/15, 1/10,
{ pixelformat = 'YUYV', description = 'YUV 4:2:2 (YUYV)' }
{ discrete: width = 320, height = 240 }
        Time interval between frame: 1/25, 1/20, 1/15, 1/10,

And some kernel info:
$ uname -r -s -m
Linux 2.6.34-ARCH x86_64

And luvcview version.

$ luvcview -h | head -n 1
luvcview version 0.2.1
