Could you please send me the output of lsusb -v (running as root if possible) for your webcam ? > I'm also wondering if it's possible to disable the LED which is quite > annoying (i'm using the cam for astronomical images, i need to get it dark > and cold). UVC doesn't provide a standard control for this. Some cameras support controlling the LED manually, and implements that using UVC extension units. Without manufacturer documentation it might be difficult to find out how to control the LED, but trial/error is possible (be warned that this could in theory brick the camera). -- Regards, Laurent Pinchart _______________________________________________ Linux-uvc-devel mailing list Linux-uvc-devel@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/linux-uvc-devel
