Hi, your camera mic is supported by the snd-usb-audio alsa driver ( http://alsa.opensrc.org/Usb-audio ), this is a totally different driver and specification from uvcvideo (video only).
Anyway is the problem related to skype only or do other apps like audacity, suffer from the same issues?
