I have same problem with my Logitech Notebook Pro and on my friends
webcam too, but i just do not have time to research it. I'd say,
enabling video couse some delay in audio stream so pulseaudio hangs or
some thing like this. Normally i have this with skype, not with
google-talk, and it seems to depend on version of skype.
