Well one important thing to notice is the pixel format returned by the driver, will it differentiate between avc and svc streams, or even mpeg2 ? If not maybe then it becomes harder for generic apps to decode it, unless we use a bunch of switch cases for the different cameras (something like this would be best implemented in the driver though)
