    Hello,

I'm working on a BSP for a board based on the RK3568, and most of the
required support is already in linux mainline (6.1-rc*). I'm currently
backporting patches to the 6.0.2 branch, but that's becoming a pain to
maintain (just realized I had a few missing..).

Are there any plans to include the 6.1 branches in linux-yocto-dev? Is
there anything I can do to help?

Yes, there will be 6.1 branches in the -dev kernel. I typically introduce them around -rc3 or -rc4. That avoids most of the churn and allows some of the coupled userspace packages to update. >
Nothing that can really be done to help, it is just a matter of time now.

Friendly reminder, 6.1-rc5 was released yesterday.

BTW, linux-5.19 was EOL'ed at the end of last month. Would it be a good idea to also refresh the 6.0 branch to 6.0.8, and maybe update the default KBRANCH to 6.0?

Cheers,
  Renato
