Hey guys,
the iMote 2 sensor nodes make a pretty good gateway between a sensor network and a conventional network when you equip it with a Wifi card. However, in order to get data off the sensor network, I need the iMote to speak to Contiki over 802.15.4. For efficiency reasons, I do not want to use IP - is there any way to enable such communication right now? Even some raw protocol would do... The problem that I am seeing is that linux-zigbee relies on the 802.15.4 MAC mechanisms while Contiki uses its own MACs and does not have a 802.15.4 implementation. Suggestions? ;) Thanks, Bastian -- Wolf-Bastian Pöttner Institut für Betriebssysteme & Rechnerverbund Tel.: +49-531-391-3265 Mühlenpfordtstrasse 23 Fax.: +49-531-391-5936 TU Braunschweig D-38106 Braunschweig ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Linux-zigbee-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-zigbee-devel
