Hi Alexander, This is great news. Now that the driver infrastructure has been committed, what are the next steps? I ask because I feel like there's something about this community that I'm missing. Maybe the answers to the following questions will help me understand: 1. Where is the repo that you are working from? Since the git tree at [1] hasn't been updated in three months, I assume you are working from another tree. Is this tree accessible anywhere online? I looked at linux-wsn and there's no public code there. 2. What is the current recommended procedure for getting a system going with 802.15.4 support? In the past, Ive taken a diff from the linux-zigbee tree[1] (devel branch) to 3.3-rc5 (which the linux-zigbee tree is based on) and applied it to my kernel. Since this tree is now out of date, and with all the new support in the mainline kernel, This is likely to conflict with newer kernels. What do you currently recommend? Linux-next, or maybe the answer to #1? 3. What is left that's developed in [1] (or elsewhere) that hasn't been taken upstream yet (eg: drivers)? What needs to be done to get it pushed upstream? 4. Is there a reason your patches aren't CC'd to linux-zigbee-devel? I ask because I feel like maybe I'm in the wrong place. Is this list still the place to be for Linux/802.15.4, or has all the real action moved to linux-netdev (or somewhere else)? Don't take any of this the wrong way. I'm not criticizing. I'm trying to understand, because I feel like I'm out of the loop, and I just want to make sure I know where the loop is :) Alan.
